Coming Together

For the first time in a few weeks, I did not conduct an interview this week. I took the chance to step back and thoroughly reflect on the interviews I have conducted. I looked back on my interview assessments, focusing on the discussion of research in each. As I continue to progress with my original work, I am narrowing down which areas of research I will focus on for recommendations. Each professional I interviewed was from a different specialty, so I have gained various perspectives that will help guide my original work. I hope to have my original work have a clear outline soon, which I can accomplish by doing further research on more specific areas. This will help me have a better sense of the direction of my original work. I also have a research interview coming up next week, which will coincide with my original work progression. I plan to compile my main takeaways from the research and interviews I have done to create an effective presentation. My speech should be drafted this coming week, along with making a visual aide for it. I am excited to be able to bring all my work in ISM together for this speech and reflect on how it all connects. I also have an interview with Dr. Nathan, an ophthalmologist, this week and am looking forward to gaining further insight into ophthalmology from him.
